The Clone Wars was a 3-year war that took place in 19 BBY. It takes place just after the Battle of Geonosis and ends during the Mission to Mustafar with the Jedi wiped out of Order 66 and the formation of the Galactic Empire. The war was Galactic Republic agianst Confederacy of Independent Systems on Star Wars Canon.

It was first on-screen seen it's begining in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and it's end in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and is seen canonically in Star Wars: The Clone Wars film and the television series and was mentioned in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope
